Kootenai, do you still have that ticket? If you do, I’m interested for tomorrow. Baby’s doc canceled today so that thing I had to do isn’t happening today... but I think tomorrow might be better than today anyway.

Well, the Schweitzer forecast hasn't worked out so far. 1" of wet/heavy overnight but 4-8" called for today. Temps dropped a bit from 6:00 this morning to 8:00 and radar shows what's headed that way. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day, provided the forecast holds up.

Well Schweitzer was pretty good and fun in morning. Started getting heavy around noon. Finished up snowboarding at 1, switched to snowskate till the end at 3:30... snowing hard when I left. Thanks for the ticket kootenai!

I sprinted out the door as soon as I could but still missed the morning. Got 10 or so runs by Braille in the fog on some really nice and untracked stuff up high, though. The top of the foggy hill delivered today. Gonna shake hands with Sam and Jack again tomorrow.

Schweitzer was pretty good yesterday but today was wet. Kind of fun this morning but socked in later. We did one bc run this afternoon. That was stupid. I'm still drying out.

Yeah, yesterday made me way too optimistic. Today was a good day for an umbrella and a pond skim.

Yesterday cattracks got sticky about 11:15 Sat, but the skiing was 6-8" deep & fun. Sticky 10;30 today with 1-2" and set up from yesterday, for Silver.

What do you guys think about PWL's about 6k in silver valley? Manageable for this weekend's forecasted corn cycle or will it get too warm? I am not sure if they've been obliterated yet. I'm thinking of skiing st. regis basin for lookout closing, trying to figure out whether skiing from the top is a good idea, or if it's better to stick to the first knoll and ski on a smaller east facing face.

The skiing is free on Sat why hike? Probably going to Thompson Pass early Sunday for the BC skiing if you're interested.

Oops Silver is open Sunday no need for me to hike. Lookout should be fun and 🍺 festivities in Wallace.
