Well done you kooks! Glad to see the gents of the pirate crew made it back to run sunnyside today too! Even better to put a name to the magician who is always throwing it switch down pendorielle with poles in hand and UPS(?) boots on. I have mistaken that man a few times in asking around...hey, are you... nope.
Technical details...
Turner rental is $XXXX/day?
Camping allowed in the lot?

that pole swing freak is me, aka spinny man to the skiers, butters to the parkrats, troypoles to the lifties, hippy troy to the old guard at alpy, legend in my mind.
and upz boots have waaaaay too much ramp angle, I've used raichle/deeluxe sb series for 25yrs, same as 1st degree skiboots, nicer multi directional flex just like old flexon comps but with snowboard stepin heel blocks,
call Bruce Zwang at the turner office for prices
no liquor licsence BYOB is all good
no overnight at turner lot, we sold out the motels in town, I think maybe some rv hookups available,
me and a couple friends stayed at b0ardski's mom b&bembrace the gape

WTF, it seemed like the locals all got your message and stayed away today. Wednesday through Friday the line for chair 6 contained 2/3 of the assembled masses and today it had no line at all while Seattle's runaway families filled up the six pack.
Serious stash day for those willing to brave slide alder season, though (or the wind on the ridge. Aussie Aussie Aussie!)

^ Things I have been told about Schweitzer the last couple days:
"The tickets are overpriced"
"Silver is always sunny, we NEVER get fog there."
"Silver has no lines"
Sounds like 49 is Shangri-la WTF.
Ohhhhh the wind today Jono...

Oh man yeah. I stood on the edge just off B chute this morning, toes out over the very sharp edge and leaning into it. It took several seconds to realize the only way down was full tuck. Think I made 4, maybe 4 1/2 knots on that descent.
I did happen to witness some serious flippy spinny action off the kicker under 6. Dude wearing a very fast jacket. Anyone we know?

Silver had some deep untouched stashes yesterday. 4 inches appeared to refresh Wardner perfectly today but I was skiing with my son so didn't get touch it. Cheers!

I always tell people Silver is in a Superfund site. Better to go ski Schweitzer with the cool folks, besides Silver is all broken short runs get the to Schweitzer.

2013/14 Inland PNW thread
Who has time to stop for deep pow skiing pics? That’s for people who make money off of “skiing”. Not for people whose actually skiing.
Unless you’re at lookout pass. Because we know they get more snow than anybody else and flat terrain makes it ideal for stopping to take pictures.

I always bring my camera gear but never end up taking pics because half the time we just end up hot lapping chair 2 and 3. The other half of the time I forget my camera, battery, or sd card lol

sounds dangerous...I was in a much slower jacket color yesterday, not it.
I shared a few laps with the elites from the Silver valley today... Half way down "are we to the lift yet, I am not used to such long runs and my legs are burning"
b0ardski brought the stoke back from Turner

Silver Valley has elites, who knew.... half way down Schweitzer and it’s all flat. If you can’t make it down the other 400’ of flatness you have other issues.
Yes I saw the Turner stoke. Was rad.
Figured others would have time to take a pic after they were done looking for their other ski in the pow after the beater.
Heading to go look at an urban line hoping it goes. If it looks in I’ll probably ski it this weekend.
