I'm a little surprised you guys are even allowed to ski in idaho? Are the hospitals holding up?
You guys have nearly a 50% test positivity rate!

2013/14 Inland PNW thread
Hospitals are just fine as of now as patients are being sent home to recover where most are recovered in a week or less with a majority experiencing mild symptoms. Total covid patients in ICU at KEC last I knew was 9, all over the age of 70, with a total of 54 hospitalized for monitoring, most over the age of 65. KEC is setting aside another wing for covid patients if needed. This is for a 5 county area. Some one posted an article about our hospitals flying patients out to other hospitals, that is completely false. Do they have plans in place to do so if necessary? Of course they have an emergency plan as do all hospitals. We are also testing like crazy and most are Asymptomatic. KEC tests every person who comes in no matter why you are there and a lot of double testing as well. ie: walk in for check up, test, come back in a couple days for follow up, tested again so you are counted twice if positive both times.
So in short, please stay away from Idaho and stop moving here, thanks.

Lol... I'm in canada so I cant come there anyway.
Your testing rate per capita is a little less than where I am and 50% are testing positive... that's a lot.
It was just curious concern.

Sounds like I have a week to decide to turn in my Schweitzer pass and buy one for Silver where the coverage is better and masks are unnecessary due to the empty slopes. This is excellent news.

Lots of people have the bat flu up here, most I know have extremely minor cold like symptoms, and a few with more severe symptoms like burning lungs and feeling like steaming hot garbage for 10 days.

You forgot about the bat-flu we have up here.
Poor coverage, check.
Covid, check.
American Redoubt 3% Oath Keepers, check.
Silver is far more cosmopolitan, being that it is only a 45 minute drive from Northern California and 1.25 hours from Spokane. Definitely the place to be.

Not the first time a chair fell off that line.... one dropped last February also.
"Separately, the ski resort acknowledged that a chair on lift No. 1, Bonanza, unexpectedly detached from its cable while passing through a loading station Saturday afternoon.“The riders were in contact with the snow in the load station when the carrier came off,” the resort said in a Facebook comment Monday morning. “The problem was quickly identified and addressed. There is not an ongoing safety issue with that chair or its carriers.”
