I was scanned a couple times last week there while skiing with my nephew. They often don't, but there's a bunny hill ticket and apparently they've started checking for it. The magic carpet ticket is free, though, if he's not ready for the chair yet.

Interesting. We did this twice last month. Once buying a ticket, once not buying a ticket and were never checked. Must be a new thing. Yeah, they do have a bunny hill ticket but it sells out along with the rest of the tickets so you have to plan ahead.

Damn... he’s 3.5 yrs old and just beginning to ride ch 5 at the kan. I was hoping for towards the end of the season trip to Schweitzer for that nice scenic beginner run.

That would suck to drive all the way there and have to buy tickets or be sold out.

Looks like 6 and under are free. Not sure if you still need to reserve though, I doubt it

Thanks, that would work. I’ll get an exchange letter in case they want me to have a ticket.

Today at Silver delivered. Way more than 8 in 24hrs. Bit thin in trees but a legit pow day all day. No one there and snowed all day and still snowing at 1:30.

    Yup, silver skied SO WELL!!

There were places where it was easily 12-14” deep. Some turns had snow hittin’ ma bewbs. Fuck needed that today!! Mash gas and fakin’ haul!

Nice! Sounds like the goods continue dropping south, but the foggy basin had kind of a sleeper day. Not real deep, but better than expected high and pretty empty. Hit the spot pretty well anyway.

West Willow Peak skied well yesterday, definitely a big avalanche risk though (even on 25* slopes) so we played it safe.

Later on I went for a lap across the highway from Lookout, and it was pretty good as well.

Big crew hitting Silver tomorrow hopefully this storm delivers.

Another scary vid from Melissa @ IPAC today, they couldn’t even sneak into a spot to dig a pit without triggering the hoar/facets on ice crust/last week’s light snows. Scary out there, hoping it heals soon.

The welcome shift in weather patterns made a gorgeous bluebird afternoon at 49. But the high pressure also brought a stiff 25ish mph consistent wind that buffed everything with N aspect, including a series of windblown berms just below a blind drop on my warmup groomer. Took it way too fast to dump speed, so it dumped me.

I make a sacrifice and fly south to bring the big pow back to our area and all that gets posted is one measly chair ride pic? Dafuq! Place is slipping.

Damn it...I knew I needed to make a right! Spent a few calories on the triple before a long session with an 8 year old: "Aren't you tired?" "No. I'm 8."

Shroom, were you on the Ridge Run in the dark? That looked bumpier in the headlamp spot than daylight somehow.

Gorgeous afternoon and sunset yesterday with all the wind-effect clouds. py cell phone pics were as expected but here's one anyway.

Great storm skiing today. Windy but snowing hard all day so, free refills, especially North Bowl.
