She was the main draw for the FIS race at Killington over Thanksgiving, so that sucks.

How can you say Lindsey is the main draw? Its a GS and SL weekend. Lindsey does not ski SL. It was always assumed that Lindsey may not attend this event in favour of DH training for the following weekend in Lake Louise, where she can win 3 podiums that weekend.
With Mikaela Shiffrin ranked the #1 Ladies Slalom racer, and now a top 5 Giant Salmon, and favoured to be in contention for this years overall globe, with ties to Burke academy and the easter ski racing scene, I would think they are using Mikaela as their main draw.

I'm not much of a ski racing follower but banners with Vonn have been plastered all over Killington all year; I figured she was the star of the show.

Those posters are of Mikaela. There are also a few light pole banners with 3 other US Ski Team athletes, Resi, Lila, and Megan. but no Lindsey Vonn.

Yeah, how do you even do that? Fall and hit something? Fall in a way where the femur goes before any connective tissue? Both are injured?

    Pushed back until May.

I don't get why she's trying to do this again, but she must have the practice times against the US men?

She does not train with the men, never has. Maybe at speed center in copper they were on same course, different time of the day. She was training with the Nords this summer for a day in SA. She would finish at the back of the pack in a mens event. She is strong, but Mens DH are a different animal. Put her on Kitz, or Wengen, good luck.

Lake Louis was the usual target for her if memory serves.

I don't get why they don't just give her a bib for LL and... they've literally been talking about it for years.

Or Redbull could step in with 5 of their athletes and set up a dh. I bet they'd get great numbers.

That’s actually a really good idea. Maybe throw in a couple freestylers and free skiers too. I’d watch the shit out of that.
