Lol, just today I told a coworker how to do that. She has one of those split ergo keyboards with all the letters worn off; she couldnít find the control key.

I have another coworker with the ergo keyboard too and the keys are all worn off. I think it's bc she eats messily at her desk. greasy fingers or something.

Nah, its that keyboard makers are not putting a clear coating over the top of the letters printed on the keys, so they rub off easily. The only alpha keys still readable on my keyboard are the high value scrabble tiles - Q, R, T, Y, U, G, H, J, Z and X

How do wear out off the print on control key buttons when you don't know how to copy/cut/paste/bold etc?

Sheís a desk eater; her keyboard is filthy. Gotta assume grease gets everywhere and dissolves whatever print it encounters, whether touched by a finger or not.

I'm not a desk eater (more like desk baker) so grease doesn't explain the worn out keys on my logitech wireless board...

For some people learning something like simple keyboard shortcuts is mind blowing. Others can't handle it.

I had a co worker who used to do payroll and our vendor bills, including our credit card tracking. She did the credit card coding by hand and of course it never balanced, not even close. I suggested it would be much easier if she used excel. She had never used excel, had no idea what it was, but of course the mere suggestion of it caused a meltdown. I set up a template for her that the transactions imported right into, all she had to do was mark the category for each transaction. After I sat and showed it to her she was amazed at how easy it was. Of course anything beyond simple data entry was asking too much but getting her to use it was a major victory.

When I have to add up a bunch of numbers I do it 3 times and then take the average.
