Like by amused did the op mean “what captures your undivided attention for the longest period of time”...or “what makes you laugh uncontrollably out loud”? The former happened probably thirty plus years ago. I happened to be stoned, and I was watching a carpenter ant with a magnifying glass. It suddenly disappeared from view but then came back into view with one of those wedge shaped green flying bugs in its mandibles(?). It just kind of sat their piercing it for a while. Maybe they were fighting but the green wedge bug wasn’t really doing very well. It did capture my attention for quite some time though.

Are you not entertained? (Spoiler alert--the white guy with the sword dies, the black guy doesn't. And why my wife insists on watching that movie for the 100th time I have no idea.)

^Heh. My mom would have had a cigarette in her hand and two martinis on board.

LOL, my mom had an '80 suburban and set up my playpen in the back for me to ride in. Part of the reason for getting the suburban.

Playpens probably aren't even a thing anymore.

Work gave me an Iphone 6 to replace the pixel2 I recently lost. I'm not a fan of the apple maps app so while loading all my other apps I figured I'd try to install google maps to use instead.

Wow, apple didn't want me loading google maps! Had to enter my itunes password at least 3 times, and make 3-4 tries at downloading the app. It would download, then disappear. Finally got it to show up. Everything else downloaded and opened, first time, seamlessly.

Another movie my wife DVR's every time it's on. (Spoiler alert--Joe Pesci gets the kids off but only after Marisa Tomei saves the day. [I LOVE Marisa Tomei.])

Smile. Great flick. The national HS mock trail case for like '94 or '95 was the same fact pattern as the movie. fun.

How much less irritating the morning rush hour is when Uber and Lyft drivers are on strike.

My kid isn't that fast but watching him do Rubik's cube makes me wonder who his real father is.

Watching my wife do battle with nature and entropy--pulling weeks, killing spiders, trimming bushes, fixing stuff--while I lounge around amuses me, but not her. I cannot convince her that in the short run Mother Nature wins and in the long run entropy does. Might as well go with the flow IMO>

Walk into McDonalds to find a full bus load of Chinese tourists has just disembarked and entered right before me. They are all lined up to use the bathroom, not a single one orders any food.
