"In June of 1775, the Continental Congress created a unified Army out of the Revolutionary Forces encamped around Boston and New York, and named after the great George Washington, commander in chief. [The Continental Army] took over the airports. Our Army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rocket's red glare it had nothing but victory." Donald J. A man looking to steal a woman’s car from a Rockdale County convenience store got more than he bargained for when his intended victim soaked him in gasoline at the pump, authorities said.

Deputies said a “slider crew” dropped a man off near a woman who was filling up her Dodge Charger on Wednesday at a BP gas station near Conyers. Security photos obtained by Channel 2 Action News appear to show the man sneak up to the car and get inside unnoticed.
Deputies are looking for a man they say tried to steal a woman's car as she filled up at a Conyers gas station.

“She didn’t see him until he was actually in the driver’s seat and attempted to pull off in the vehicle,” Rockdale sheriff’s Deputy Lee Thomas told the news station.

Once the woman realized what was happening, she turned the nozzle on the man sitting in her driver’s seat and sprayed him with gasoline, police said.

People are focusing on the airports thing but I think "rammed the ramparts" is at least as funny.
BTW, I wonder how many Americans know that Ft. McHenry/Rockets' red glare was the War of 1812. Other than naturalized citizens that is.

When I got my Brit citizenship, with help from you, the only test was that I couldn't smile on my passport. That was hard. I thought about bad teeth, and still laughed. It took me forever not to smile. Much harder.

I went into a giggling cycle, which if any of you know me, I'm pretty straight laced.

And that is what caused Brexit.

And, on that note, I think it would be a fun journey if Ice and I got our Irish passports together. Maybe Cody could blog that next.
