    2014 27.5s

I am looking to upgrade next spring from my Transition Covert V2 and am scoping out 27.5 bikes as a replacement. I ride 80 percent to the bike park or DH and the rest is fast DH with a few hits but nothing over 10 feet.

Transition announced a 27.5 Covert which I would be interested in except I hate the colors available

The Bronson looks like the strongest candidate so far.

The Breeze Repack looks nice but seems heavy. ( maybe this will change)

I saw this bike amongst my searches.
    https://www.fezzari.com/full-suspens.../Timp-Peak-XTR
Specs to the hilt for $5500. At that price I could ride it and buy a frame from one of the other bikes listed above and still be ahead. Cheesy name though.

Either way I will wait till the spring and hopefully get to demo some and read some actual reviews from owners. Any other bikes out there that I am missing? Really want to keep it under $6k unless it was a dream bike in every way and a good value (if there is such a word in high end Mt bikes)

    Check through this thread: http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...-Mojo-HDR-650b

Standouts in my eyes are the Mach 6 and SB-75

    read through ^^^ that thread.

Like he said, Pivot Mach 6 and SB-75 should be on the list. Norco Range and Devinci Troy fit into this category as well.

Saw the other thread but it was about 2 bikes. So many options I will have to demo at Duthie on their next demo day. That Mach 6 looks sweet from the reviews.

^^^ Bronson is 150mm. You were maybe on the 5010 (125mm)?

Anyone here have experience on a 650b hardtail. I'm probably going to add a 1x9/10 hardtail to the stable and need to find the appropriate wheelsize to be a dick about.

More AM suited, but still climbs like a beast and decently light.

what is the consensus on the 650b bikes coming with a 34 mm fork? do they make a 36 mm fork for 650b? i'm ~200lbs and like having a 36 on my 26" bike.

    Fox forks fit 650B.

Kind of the opposite what I been reading about the Bronson. Was looking at it for the upgrade replacement to the Stumpy FSR if it ever wears out. Like the Norco Range too.

I rode the Haro 650B hardtail set up for 2x9 for couple years. It was a fine ride.

absolutely perfect. i'm either gonna get the 134dl or stick with 29 and get the 111dl. that 111dl will prove to be one of the most capable bikes out there.
