If it doesn't sell, he reposts. 30-day auctions I think.

People eventually want some of this crap and will offer him much under what he was asking for and he accepts. They think they get a deal because it is unique and not much to go on but his one rule is to sell at minimum keystone x 10 on everything. He finds a weird jacket at Salavation Army for $5, puts it online for $100. If someone offers him $50, he takes it. 10x profit. Sure, he sits on shit for a while and has a room dedicated to his crap in his house, but he keeps good books and he is making decent side money with very little effort. He has an eye for seeing value in shit very few do and it works for him.
Well, honestly, $50 for a good condition, unique vintage jacket is actually a pretty reasonable retail / ebay price. He's spending the time to acquire the goods from a below wholesale / scrap cost source, and separate it from items that aren't worth anything. I have no problem with people turning a profit by providing a service finding and offering these goods on ebay, at a price the market will bear.

Vintage bindings you found in a basement for free, sell for $30 or $50? OK. But not $400.

Surprised nobody has jumped on this pair of "67 inch tall" Pontoons for only $1,900 + $75 shipping.

Just send him a direct message! I'm sure he'll be happy to entertain any offers that include pork products.

You should see the prices people get for pre cbs stratocaster parts--3 figures for screws--that's per screw. I've even seen old masking tape that wires were wrapped in for sale. Not sure what good that is since it won't stick to anything. But it's genuine, and vintage.

    This one caught my eye...

$120 and shipping for an older Lange Boot with a preformed Surefoot liner? Kinda steep. Oh yeah... just the left boot.
