QUESTION: Can you tell me if the rope belongs to the inbounds side or the out of bounds side of the resort?
thanks

Offered $6.78 - declined. Offered $10.78 - declined. Then I offered $2.32 - also declined. Game over for me, I’ll have to wait until the next opportunity comes around...

I sent this guy a PM asking who actually skied these in the Olympics, and whether it was training or actual finals comps. Response follows
Dear telebobski,
Hi
yes I can get documentation.
WHEN i was 14 or 15 years old - you see,
Jansport and K2 were "SITKA" corporation.
A family member worked there, HIGH UP
in the company.
This stuff is THE REAL DEAL.
Was from when they were here in Washington state on
VASHON ISLAND.
IM do remember a few other items.
I'll go look in some old boxes.
I had gloves used in the actual olympics
and some poles that had a slight bend from the games.
As a kid I also had a K2 "Olympic" used
jacket and gore tex "JANSPORT" pants.
lost them years ago.
It was a JANSPORT JACKET with
K2 LOGO IN YELLOW
ON BLACK SLEEVES
i LOOKED LIKE A BUMBLE BEE.
I may have a photo at the folks house of the jacket.
do you want the other stiff i got that day.
AT THE TIME we thought we were getting new skis
and these used ones seemed like a little 2nd hand.
I had people ask for my autograph a few times on
the slopes in the 80's haha
Im wondering where my bindings went?
I dont know but I think the guys who signed
SKIED on these were look alikes, or were twins?
I saved more than my brother or sister
Im staring to remember a signed photo maybe too.
I remember someone telling me I was not smart to wear a hat signed by olympic athletes.
If I only knew how lucky I was to get all this stuff.
MY BROTHER WOULD continue to get K2's even after
our close relative left.
because 6-7 years later, My uncle was K2s PRESIDENT.
I'll tell you more in writing if we do sale and you need details for historical significance.
I'm not blowing smoke. THESE SKIS were from olympics.
I may have gloves.
I DO KNOW I HAVE A BINDING COVER THAT CAME OVER BINDINGS.
It smells a little like garage must.
I CALL THE FAMILY and take a pulse on who has what if your
a museum or something.
If your from K2
You will know all this info.
PS I was 130 lbs skiing on 210 cm skis.
These to me are like an old car I had forever,
MAN, I HAD a whole lifetime of fun on these
skis, listening to my sony walkman.

Price is now $499..? I think he's getting the wrong idea. maybe since 50 people offered him $10, that means he can get $500 cumulatively?

Man, if someone buys those for $499..I HAVE to contact him with my collection. I have some bindings that are worth 2-3 times more than an XM. All 125 bindings at an average of 400/pr...a cool $50K. Hookers and blow for everyone.

I like how there's new Look bindings under the "also viewed" for $279 with DIN 14. Does the seller not realize that?
