The stoke vs. antistoke debate has an analogue in particle physics. Stoke could be considered equivalent to matter, while antistoke equivalent to antimatter. Everyone here should embrace both, just as the universe embraces both. Curiously, the universe is biased to matter (see baryon asymmetry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baryon_asymmetry) much like TGR is biased to stoke.

Just trying to put this in some sort of metaphysical context for those of you that feel the need to put someone on ignore for fear you might get sucked into the black hole of butthurt.

Not worried about butthurt. Worried about having to sift through uninteresting, time-wasting posts to get to the good stuff, which has been abundant the past 48 hrs.

I missed the Terrapin in Hampton that Spring of '87 tour, Vt-F, but I did catch this one a few weeks later (at 1:22).

Snow was hero. Could make any turn at any shape.

Was talking about how if this snow can mostly make it past this next warmup it will lay down an epic base. Unlike most bases it wouldn't be all skied up when it freezes rock hard. Then almost any amount of snow would open most terrain.

In this case almost all the credit goes to Tim Fater for taking some nice shots.

Solid show, nice opener (final Dancin) and 2nd set Cumberland was always a rare treat. That whole tour had great energy...oh, the memories.

Not really...had days like that running Goat Woods and pretty much any nice line on Mansfield and Stark. Most of the snorkle shots from FIS are from Mansfield.

On the other hand, Jay rocks the goods slightly more often and at slightly greater depths...

Just don't show this stuff to the Westies!
