My first official duty as his wife was signing him out of the ER after he got a bunch of stitches in his head. He promptly went out and bought an XTerra figuring he'd be safer from anything falling on him! Many people here know that the previous thing to fall on my husband was a lift shack, also during high winds, after he pushed a father and son out of the way, which is how he almost lost his leg. Needless to say, he's not allowed to go outside when it's windy anymore!

We've been married more than 12 years now, and fortunately, he's had an awesome life since then. You know, since he married such an awesome wife and all!

What do you guys have for boots in a 27? I've decided to take up skiing this season.

Good for you. Independent leg suspension is highly underrated.

Primes and factor 130 in 27.

Plan was to head back to PA on Sunday, but the thin promise of 4-6" this weekend is putting Plan B: Operation Power Outage in motion for our wives consumption and chagrine. It's the perfect crime.

I just want to be able to hang with all of my friends at MRG. That mountain has some fun terrain and an awesome vibe to it.

Sounds like a good plan B to me! I'll be around trying to keep up with jr. tomorrow and maybe a solo mission Sun. depending on what the skies puke up.

VTF - That's the best shitty snow report I think I've read!

    Awesome!

I have a box of things for TC and family set to arrive here tomorrow afternoon. I'm on campus at UVM, but I should be headed to Smuggs on Sunday. If there is anyone close to campus or Smuggs that has the means to get it to them it would be much appreciated.

Well it does look like real snow. Still feeling pretty bullish on this winter despite the doldrums of January-last year seemed worse over here.

Rope ducking Drifter, Robin's Run, Waterfall and Black Bear yielded a respectable powder day at Smuggs. 4-5" down up high and still snowing right now. Nice bookend for the week.
