Is this a joke? Raising money for Movember, supporting moustache growing in November? Are there no worthy causes for fundraising? How much of the ticket price goes to this oh-so-important cause?

I live in Santa Monica, and someone really dropped the ball here - no one knows about this event. Past years, TGR films premiered to great fanfare, this year, it's under the radar.

It's basically guys version of the pink movement for breast cancer, but for prostate and testicular cancer in men. They are actually a super legitimate organization that we have done a number of fund raising efforts for over the past few years. We have had some people close to us deal with both those issues so it does not feel like reach to help support the cause.
As far as the marketing goes, I am not sure what is going on there. There has been quite a bit more marketing dollars put into this show than the past LA shows, so it is not good to hear that no one knows about this. Please spread the word as much as you can, as it should be a really cool show with a big screen and sweet audio system.

See, I didn't see anywhere in that marketing promo that the fundraising is for prostate cancer, so those of us unfamiliar with the purpose behind Movember would see it only as its written - a movement to grow moustaches. Now I know it's a legitimate charity, but that certainly needs to be rewritten.

It's true, no one I know seems is aware of this screening. While TGR didn't pay in the past for the marketing, there was a terrific ground swell campaign, with mags creating the buzz. Those Viper Room screenings were so much fun. I'll let people know about this.

I agree about the marketing this season.I found out about it a few weeks ago while looking for the Claremont screening which is not happening this year.
This is Mammoth Mountains show this season "little marketing" and they are letting passholders in for free

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Yoga, thanks for the support. This event came together very quickly and so while the energy is definitely there for it to be easily the biggest show we've ever done in the LA market (we are expecting between 1,000-2,000 people at this premiere), we should have done a better job of huddling up with the Maggots to get you aware and on-board.

Having said that, hopefully you and all of our other core fans are as pumped on this event as we are and will come out in force. Super stoked to see the movie outdoors on the pier.

    See you tomorrow night!

Did Mammoth pass holders get into the TGR BUT show for free ? My girlfriend walked away with a 50.00 gift certificate and a huge smile for Daron Rahlves [sp] while dancing a jig up to the stage.

Awesome night! Great screen, sound system, some serious schwag, and an amazing setting to watch the flick! Thanks TGR and Mammoth for making it happen. Team Comish rolled with our 3 bambinos. Resi (aged 3) got a poster signed by Griffin Post who told her he knew Resi Steigler

    Great night!

Interesting life you lead-If YOU don't know about it someone is doing it wrong? I heard about the pier thing for weeks. I always knew that movember was a way to drum up support for a cause and not just dudes growing them one month a year? Get the fuck over yourself. PS-those viper room parties were as lame as the Viper room itself.
