Helping a wayfaring stranger from the other coast with a night of camping and some brake repair in our driveway.

    Good on ya!

I used to carry a full paper list in a binder clip under my bench seat, just in case (meaning in every single case!).

Any of you Vanagon owners want this Yakima rack, free? Located in Reno, too awkward to ship so you'll have to come get it. PM me if you want it.

Yes, we get 4-6 vans a Summer come and stay for a night or two with us on the side of our driveway. It feels nice to provide a place for a good nights rest without the dreaded midnight knock on the window for poaching camping somewhere. With the Bus/Vanagon connection, everyone so far have been really nice, interesting folks. I’ll probably try to use the system at the end of this month in NH for the Billy Strings shows.

Very cool. I just joined to add to the list along with Warmshowers for bicycle tourists and Couchsurfing. We have hosted a lot of really interesting people.

Passed a early 60's 17(?) Window yesterday in salmon arm. No rust, looked like a super tight runner , no glitz. Sooo jelly

Anyone need a Subaru EJ22? I have a motor to give away, plus a complete wiring harness and ECU. Project car gone, need this anchor out of my shop.
