I will be in Whistler next week, We-Sun, staying near bottom of Creekside Gondola. Any recommendations on places for dinner and/or beers?

Based on forecast, looks like it is going to be warm and dry...any suggested bc skin in areas that corn up nicely? I read the special advisory on avi conditions, so was thinking mellow spots. Looking through the thread and online, was thinking Thompson cabin, Brew Hut, Read heather hut, or things like that.

Also, given that it will be a foreign country for us and I seem to recall lots of strip clubs around Whistler, might be a chance I can talk the wife into going to one, so let me know your favorite.

Mellow S facing runs in general that corn up nicely. Bodybag bowl area. Cham Chutes area. Circle Lake runs. Get the Baldwin Map from Escape Route for that. As for other touring areas, the places you described have bad access right now due to low snow pack so you'll be limited

WB snow safety seems to be forecasting things tightening up a lot today/tomorrow vs. CAC special warning (although S2S is mod/mod/low tomorrow). S/E aspect solar warming obviously a concern, although it's only -1C in the alpine right now.

Guessing surface conditions will be comically bad everywhere around Whistler tomorrow anyway with cooling temperatures. Definitely not expecting nice corn.

The brutal weather outlook continues, I need to buy a bike asap.

Quick edit from Logan Pehota from last weekend:

Despite the relative lack of predicted snow, my friend and I are planning a trip to WB. We were planning to meet up using a 2-way radio set since we won't be skiing together much of the time. Can anyone tell me if WB is just too big for these to work well, or if not, what model(s) have you had good luck with. Thanks.

Bad snow, so we made lemonade out of lemons and went skiing uphill.

    Judo Chop,

My friend is paranoid. Refuses to use a cell phone ever since the NSA thing came out.

The bonus is that his tin foil hat will reflect all the sun we're having, although that could make him more visible to satellites... best stay home.
