    2013/14 Southern Interior BC Thread...

Yeah, we ain't skiing like the folks in CO yet, but there's snow in the alpine, I'm shopping for new skis, the Sherpas are releasing this year's ski porn and Red Mountain is busy adding a 1000 acres of new terrain, so I figured it's time to get this started.

Also, new base area weather station at Red.

So what are you going to be upgrading too? Was thinking of an upgrade this season but stuck with the ol' xp for now.

Anyone going for turns this weekend? 60mm forecast for tomorrow out this way means a ton of snow if you can get high enough.

Just sold my 09 Xp. 5500 on kijii with 2900miles-netted 50+replies over a weekend and sold to the first person who viewed it. Completely stripped back to stock...

sadly, i won't be skiing the kootenays this season (apart for 2 weeks over christmas)...any southern interior folks have suggestions where to ski around quesnel/prince george? i've previously been told to go to terrace, skip troll resort, and tour around wells/barkerville.

student passes at powder king are $400....it's far from me, but it might work.

i'm definitely already missing red/rossland range/whitewater. i hope the kootenays get a good season.

Anybody in the know on how much frontside glading was done over the offseason at Revy? Not that it will stop me from getting a pass this year, just curious. Read they widened the Ninja Traverse, can't imagine that would be the extent of thinning accomplished.

Ninja Traverse is now 2 cats wide and marked on the new trail maps. They did a bunch of random glading I was told, but I promptly forgot where it all was. The corner above the cat shack is the only place that I remember. A few other runs got added to the new map, Monkey Bars for example.
