Our little snow tease this week got me to renew my Meadows pass. Getting the ski bowl night pass as well. Should be a good year!

Moving to a 3/4 night shift this winter. Should provide lots of time in the snow. I'm already back in the morning habit of checking webcams, nwac, and resort pages etc.

Thanks for getting things started Tap. Sorry I missed you Friday - you catch any fish?
Not getting a MHM season pass this year - for the first time in 25 years, because...
I got a Bachy season pass, because...
I'm moving to Central OR in three weeks. Renting a condo at Inn of 7th Mtn from Oct 18 until late January, when our house in Sisters is supposed to be done.
Looking forward to meeting the Bend crew at "Into the Mind" on 10/19. Just hope Hottate's review of the trailer didn't ruin it for me.

And, I'm over tele after 15 years - skiing with heels locked from now on (and AT for the uphill). And yes, I fully realize that no one but Michael gives a shit...
Dude, your summer gig really took a toll on you!!! Get some rest!

Quick and easy-to-digest hourly SNOTEL info.

These pages see big use in CO, but aren't as well known in other states.
If you click on the station dots, you see this year in comparison to all prior years - these will reset in early October for 2013/14.

timberline here i come. the savings we'll get from the parenthood pass will help finance trips to bend and hopefully at least one of whistler/stevens/crystal and make up for any extra flatness.

Can't decide on mhm pass or not. Def did not get my monies worth pre spring pass issuance last year. I enjoy night skiing at the Bowl and buck up the $129 there. That's for sure.
I plan on more bc and out of state trips this year - but to miss a few big days inbounds is not fun either. Although shit gets tracked in 30 minutes and weekend lines are not worth it.
Still debating.

Same boat here. Probably not getting a pass. Might do a club card at Meadows, and hope for 5 good midweek days. Going to Whistler for a week in Feb, plan to leverage trips to Bachelor with the family, and happy to pay the nightly rate at Skibowl if it's good.
My only problem is the little guy. He is keen to get up there, but does NOT have the leg strength to form a wedge\pizza. Makes it very difficult for me to be there, paying big prices, to do next to nothing...

Just moved to PDX, so I'm starting to weigh my options. What are the roads up to Hood like when it's storming? Any chance to get a 2WD vehicle up there? Is the bus from Sandy a decent option?
Do they run the night lifts at Ski Bowl during storms?

A bit off topic......but WTF? I just realized you don't work for Vestas anymore.
