Don't you just love sports where the winner is the guy who spends the most money furthering the development of an obsolete technology?

totally! That carbon fiber technology can't be used for anything else other than sailboats, what a waste...

    Anyone been watching?

Aside from Oracle USA getting their asses handed to them it's been awesome to watch.

The graphics and presentation not to mention the setting has been outstanding once again.

That boat is amazing...... Big difference from the ship that started the whole thing.

On 22 August 1851, America raced against 15 yachts of the Royal Yacht Squadron in the Club's annual 53-nautical-mile (98 km) regatta around the Isle of Wight. America won, finishing 8 minutes ahead of the closest rival. Apocryphally, Queen Victoria, who was watching at the finish line, was reported to have asked who was second, the famous answer being: "Ah, Your Majesty, there is no second.

Every round I am impressed by the limits of design and engineering they are working in.
Just a speculation, but I wonder if space or lack of need on a 38’ boat is why no pedaling. I doubt we have seen the last of pedaling, or maybe another form of human power, maybe something more full body. Mountain climbers or rowing would look crazy on deck like the bikes did.

    America's Cup

Maybe. It shouldn’t be a space issue. Part of the reason for cyclors was to free up their hands. Now I’m down that wormhole...
Cyclors aren't allowed in this edition of the America's Cup.
