    TR: Colorado Trail Race

I rode the CTR last month, what a hoot! I rode southbound against the flow and chatted with some folks and put this little video together.

What a great video... I thoroughly enjoyed watching that, and it *almost* made me want to do it myself.

It's amazing that you thought about filming while you were suffering through 450+ miles of riding. How much extra time do you think it took you to film and put all the "b-roll" together? Nicely done.

Great video. Props for doing it the opposite direction--seeing everyone passing must have been cool. I miss CO sometimes...

I tried not to spend a ton of time shooting. Obviously I passed more folks than seen in the video. A majority of that came on the 4th day and the northbound riders were pushing hard to get to their first resupply after 200ish miles with no services. Most of them were pretty focused on getting food! I ended up catching the other southbound guy that was ahead of me so I was able to pull the camera out a few times and get some shots of him during the last 2 days into Durango. Just so happens that those last couple of days have some of the most mind blowing scenery I've seen on my mountain bike!

Nice work. I've always loved that Beastie Boys song, it shows their amazing range of talent and works perfectly in your video.

We can do it, just so long as we do the 14 day, drinking beer version.
