SLC Eats
Looking for some good places to eat this weekend;
Those that know me (or at least my food-laden FB feed) know I love anything. . . as long as it's done well. All cuisines fine to dives. Looking for good drinks places too, same criteria.
Thanks in advance.I still call it The Jake.

Red Iguana 2 for mole.
Silver Fork in BCC if you're up there. I think their food is tasty.

Porcupine Pub for great burgers and pub fare, plus very talented staff. At the mouth of BCC.

Tsunami for sushi.
Ruth's Diner up Emigration Canyon has. Great patio.
Red Iguana or Red Iguana 2 for Mexican, but there's always a wait. Less wait at #2.
Vintos has some interesting options for fancy pizza if you like that kind of thing.
Frida Bistro has killer food and margaritas that are out of the ordinary.

If you've never eaten at the Red Iguana, you'd be a fool to miss it. Ask for the mole sampler to start, and then decide what to order. or just order the Puntas de Filete.

Sorry to hear about Mekong Thai. Great food and the owner was nice.
Desert Edge brewery - great beer - I generally wind up getting what they have on cask. The food is very good also.

For me, it was always a toss-up between Ruth's Diner and Blue Plate Diner for breakfast. Blue Plate is a solid option for lunch and dinner as well.
Tsunami for hip and creative, Takashi for hip and traditional, Kyoto for traditional.
Best meal I had while living there was at Paris Bistro.Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

There's a pretty money Cajun spot down by the temple. I can't remember the name due to all the drinking that was done. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
