Official 2013 College Football Thread
Less than a month away til we kick it off.
My preseason top 5
1. Bama
2. Stanford
3. Georgia
4. Ohio St
5. Oregon
Lots of questions going into the year. Can Aggie continue despite what is turning into a JFF trainwreck? How do the Ducks do without Kelly? Does Ohio St walk into the title game with an easy schedule? Can the 'Ville go undefeated and will that be enough?
It's almost go time!ROLL TIDE ROLL

I saw on the cover of USA Today that the top three were 'Bama, Ohio St., and Oregon.
I'll take that over what's listed.

on offense maybe, they're returning something like 4 starters on defense. But I guess we shall see.

Interesting that chip gets to deal with a really ugly situation in Philly right off the bat just like he did with blount at Oregon. I think Philly fans are going to end up with a better coach than they deserve.
I don't see oregon falling off much and maybe getting even better after 4 years of primetime exposure making them deeper and solidifying a big time winning culture. As usual, the media will be covered in pig-flavored jizz after annual circle jerk with the sec.

Boss, we think alike. Hoping for a breakout year from Gardner and a solid season from Michigan. I'll guess 10-2 on the season, knowing that sounds a little optimistic. GO BLUE!

I don't care if they lose 11 games this season, as long as they ruin that Ohio University's shot at an undefeated season and title game.I still call it The Jake.

^^^^^^ - will not happen... No doubt Bama is the team to beat and feel they have a great chance for 3 consecutive, but the Bucks have all the pieces this year to make a run of it... With the loss of Robinson and some other key players I think Big Blue is going to have a tuff year...

Robinson could run and he was a hell of a playmaker, no doubt about that, but the Michigan offense is built around a guy like Gardner. Some tough games, yes, but still, an overall good season.

Yes, Denard was the most dynamic player in Michigan's history, but honestly when we got down 2 TDs it was over. Gardner can throw us back into games.

Jarvis H Chrast, enough about Denard already.
Michigan and Michigan State are both playing cupcake schedules this year.
Kind of embarrassing to say the least.Balls Deep in the 'Ho

Bama vs. Oregon in the natty. I don't care who you are or who you root for...this would be the match up of all match ups and really fun to watch.

From my experience most college ball fans in Cincinnati hate the SEC because they think aOSU is better and think Oregon is a capital in Canada.
Great matchup otherwise.I still call it The Jake.

agree on uga being way too high.
They will lose to either clempson or USCe, and I wont be surprised to see them lose both.
Im excited for the WSU Auburn matchup. Hopefully Mike Leach brings it.
Aggie won't do shit this year. I think they lose to bama. I think bama losses to va tech.
just kidding on that last one. va tech is not gonna be feeling good after that one. bama's schedule is set up favorably for them to go undefeated with bye weeks before TAMU and LSU.
My team, Georgia Tech will go 8-4, maybe 9-3 if we are lucky. I wont be happy unless its at least 10-2 though.

Clowney is a hell of an athlete but that's what news people do.....pound stuff to death. Not sure how SC isn't ahead by lots more.

C-Shaw missing some throws. O-Line not getting good run blocks. Getting FGs instead of TDs in the red zone. We'll be ok, but certainly need some work before UGA next week.
I'm really looking forward to the game after this tho. Ole Miss/Vandy should be a fun/good affair.
