Might as well start a general Footy/Soccer thread

    Forest beats Arsenal….anyone surprised?
City wins the title, Forest avoids relegation.

Can’t figure out why Tottenham isn’t better than they are. You have Kane, Son and Richarlison. Da fuck?

And I'm happy with a decent season an strong finish winning like 6 of 7 with one tie. I see LFV still lives in your head 24/7 rent free. Lost the last head to head BIGLY! SAD!

You said it was looking good to never walk alone in Champion's League next season. The only way Liverpool makes top 4 is jumping over my team or NUFC. That isnt looking likely and I commented as such. A win or draw today or against Fulham and Liverpool will indeed be in the Europa league, notorious for their late Thursday matches against far flung European competition.
Your only trophy this year is a 7 nil win against United which you are still celebrating in Trumpian fashion. Enjoy

They’re in the champions league so not much of a choke right? Basically an exhibition match.

So the German League has said no to sheihks, chinese and Russians buying in.

Yay PL ! more money for Established renowned internationally succesful Clubs like the wolverhampton Wanderers.
What I really like about this PSG style Experiment ist that it Shows that you can't buy titles without a concept.

And lastly a lot of those Investors are burning money because there are only 4 cl spots. I guess billionaire need expensive hobbies.

Next year they will be promoting the super League again
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.

15 words about MU. 50+ words about LFC. Pattern for pretty much every post here. It's clear that hate drives your motivation.. You hate LFC more than you love MU. SAD!

Luton Town! I wish I could have seen the shootout. So much money on the line. Has anyone checked out their stadium? Unbelievable that they will be in the EPL next year.

A little bummed that it's over for LFC but good showing climbing back from dead middle to 5th with a shot at CL right to the last day.
Congrats to MU and good luck to them in the FA final. Would have been fun for my guys to make CL but still pretty cool the Egyptian Magical kicked total ass. Not sure what we need, maybe better defense.. Alison played well IMO.

Happy for Everton that they avoided relegation on the final day. That winning goal was amazing.

League is definitely better with the Toffees in it. Their fanbase and history are top drawer.

Up early in the morning, dressed in Red.... Big match today. Legacies on the line.

    Glory glory Man United!!
Pep has the better team, but we still have a good chance.

Jongy, I started and deleted a whole post on rivalries, the biggest clubs in football, and the history of the Irish diaspora and how it shaped my take on MUFC vs LFC over the last 30 years watching my team in Glasgow, US mountain towns, and Manhattan.

    Off to the pub...

    Maybe later

Nice work by City closing it out with PL and FA. Can they score the Trifecta with the CL final next weekend? That would be amazing..

    City were just better.
Only 3rd team to do the double more than once after United and Arsenal.

While I believe in rivalries, and the Lpool v. United one is good and rich and a source of banter around the globe, the shit head who wore the Hillsborough mocking United shirt to the FA Cup final should be imprisoned in Liverpool with a violent sex offender.

Sad to see Zlatan Ibrahimović hang up the boots. He was a delight to watch and spent much of the 2000s thus far as the best attacking player not named Messi or Ronaldo.

    Lots of movement happening..

    Benzema confirmed to the Saudis.

Still waiting to see where the likes of Neymar, Bellingham and Kane land and rumors are flying in every direction..

Biggest news to us would be Messi coming stateside. Think it'll happen?

48% chance he goes to Miami
48% chance he goes to Saudi
    4% chance he’s in Europe.

It's really interesting that top players sacrifice their legacy for a few bucks going to Saudi arabia.
Bellingham on the other hand: getting 100 Million to go to one of the top 4 teams in the world is a no brainer. Too bad the German League is no Match for the oligarch money.
