Do the Mets own Arsenal now too. They're playing like them down the stretch..

Totally enjoyed that win and the promotion. Was a fun season to follow them.

Might as well start a general Footy/Soccer thread

What an unbelievable game by Newcastle…and embarrassment for the Spurs. 5 goals in the first 20.

Arsenal's title chances are slipping away:

Arsenal now have 75 points with 5 games left. They can get to a maximum of 90 points if they win every game from here on in.
City have 73 points with 7 games left. They can get to a maximum of 94 points if they win every game.
This means City could even loose a game and end with 91 points, still ahead of Arsenal.

    Arsenal’s final games include:
    Chelsea (H)
    Newcastle (A)
    Brighton (A)
    Nottingham Forest (A)
    Wolves (H)

    City’s run in:
    Fulham (A)
    West Ham (H)
    Leeds (H)
    Everton (A)
    Chelsea (H)
    Brighton (A)
    Brentford (A)
I don't see City loosing 2 games in that run in.

BUT crazier things have happened in the Prem.

Very entertaining CONCACAF Champions League Semi tonight b/t LAFC and Philadelphia Union, who, by the way, have the sharpest kits I’ve seen in MLS this year.

I don’t either. City should blow everyone away there.

Oh, I think we’ve all known City was winning the league for a week or so now. No way do they drop that many points, and I also think it unlikely that Arsenal take full points the rest of the way.

Arsenal kept finding ways to sneak out victories with minor miracles. That only works for so long.

Or until you play Haaland. Whichever comes first.

At least Arsenal mathematically clinched Champions League spot yesterday.
    Celebrate the small victories.
