The new Tottenham stadium is impressive, but it really does look like a giant toilet seat.

Their opponents uniforms look like ass today, very fitting.

I'm still in disbelief rewatching that goal, seems like its straight out of a pick up game. I think the uniforms and the stadium played a role in that.

So good seeing Ajax dispatch the match-fixers and their preening Kobe Bryant of the UEFA. And to do it with such aplomb. Even more satisfying against the team that knocked them out in '96 and '97. Hoping for the best against Spurs or Billionaire City.

Ashley Young of Man U was absolute garbage out there. Literally made five mistakes in a row to gift Messi his chance for the 1st goal.

And his one supposed prized talent of crossing was total shite. Even In the corner routine that they obviously practiced and implemented in the first corner of the night, he passed it straight to the defender off the near post.

Might as well start a general Footy/Soccer thread

Has there ever been a major sporting event where both teams mascot is The Jews? Heh ✡️

Considering buying a Son jersey at this point. Might also need to buy an Ajax jersey too though(seriously well done against Ronaldo's new team).

Taped the spurs/city game today and just finished watching. Wow!!! Spurs have a very solid shot at going to the final, even without Harry Kane. I think it would be tough for them beat either Barca or Liverpool, if they get that far, without Kane, but they got by Man City so it is certainly possible. Kane is supposed to be back in June. I wonder if there is a chance he could be back for the final.

Dude, you're looking ahead to the finals, I'm sure Spurs aren't making the same mistake against a team that beat both Real and Juve AT HOME. Also, Kane out, but isn't Son also out for at least the first leg d/t penalties?

Liverpool and Barca are my two favorite teams. My ancestors are traced back to Liverpool, one of them was mayor there in the early 1800s. Started pulling for Barca just because I liked Messi more than Renaldo. Spurs are making a great run. Props to their coach and everyone on the team. Would really be cool if they shocked the world... but gotta get past my favorites to do that :-)

It's a lot like seeing the Yankees or Patriots get crushed.

I though Chelsea gave away their opportunity to get 4th when they tied with Burnley on Monday .
But with Arsenal loosing to the Wolves today, its all back on for 4th!

This is blasphemy, but do Spurs sell Kane to Real Madrid for $100mil+? Son seems to work well by himself up front.
Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well.
