Madrid beat Sevilla this afternoon in a clash of la Liga's top two teams. Sevilla scored first and had a couple chances to expand their lead, but Benzema scored in the 30something minute after some poor goal keeping and then Vinicius Jr. hit a screamer in the 87th minute to win it.

Vinicius is becoming quite the player. Sevilla did a good job on him today, man marking him and being very physical, but they got tired and he got his opening and he won it for Madrid. He's really blossomed this year.

Let it rain let it pour let the Portland timber’s score! Fuck yeah! Walking in a Timber’s wonderland! MLS final in PDX, going to be a great scene. I even have a line on a ticket but no way I can get out of work this time of year. And to cap the day off Betis beat Barca at camp nou and sits number 3 in la liga. If they get anywhere close to a final copa del rey or Europa league final in la puta Sanchez pizuan or close top of the league at the end, I’ll be there no matter what the boss says or poor financial decisions. After sulking last night watching the Ducks get hammered by the utes I really needed this!

yes. Coach I’m familiar with is more interested in gps data.acceleration, work rate, runs, etc. Manchester city actually made a bunch of that data public for a little bit

Timbers tie it up with seconds to go in the game

Still tied up as we start 2nd 15mins of OT…
This thing might go to penalty kicks

Nothing worse than a championship being decided on PKs. Play till the bitter end.

That was painful, then joyful then painful to watch. At least my boss didn’t get mad at me for watching the game and completing zero work on the clock. As a Ducks/Betis/Blazers/Timber’s fan I’m well used to disappointment. Timbers have the best trophy hall in my lifetime with one MLS cup (thanks to atrocious play by Steve Clark). Betis has a Copa Del Rey final that is etched in my mind with local kid Dani scoring the game winner in OT.

What a great idea to have a night game in the plains of central Ohio in late January.

I hope the temperature advantage works out for us in the end and isn’t offset by ES’ ability to put on more layers.

Great new stadium though, Crew. Glad Jimmy Haslam saved the franchise from that fat turd Precourt.
