Gunners def trending in the right direction.
We will see how it fares in next few matches.

City ran circles around United, 2-nil was kind.

Be interesting to see how Hammers do when they have to make hard decisions about who to start in 3 different competitions.

I don't go back that far for PL stuff, but definitely a huge Minnesota Kicks NASL fan in the 70s-early 80s Started paying more attention to PL when I was coaching my kids' teams 2006-2018. Played on the HS Varsity team 79-81, did some bar league college through my 20s.. Kinda dropped out of it past couple years but good to see Liverpool win Champions and then PL within a couple years. Started following them because my ancestors have solid Liverpool roots.. Also my boss at work was a giant MU fan and reds got good right at that time hahahaha!

That was awesome. 3-0 this year vs MEX!

Cincy’s new stadium looks great too.

I have resisted the urge to taunt my neighbors about the qualifier results. It's fun to chat across the fence after a close game. 3-0 and I'm just smiling and saying nothing. Plus, I can be happy when Mexico wins against pretty much anyone else except England. Mex is my third favorite NT.

And with the miracle of Iceteca Canada ends 2021 top of CONCACAF qualifying standings.

    Crazy.

I wouldn't call it a miracle. Tied Mexico at Azteca and haven't lost a qualifier yet. Also the highest scoring national team this calendar year. Who would have thought?

They have looked great and the talent level isn't on par with US or Mexico
Davies, yes, anyone killing it for Bayern def rates but otherwise? A couple of dudes from Bestikas, a keeper from Red Star Belgrade, one of Weahs teammates from Lille and a bunch of MLSers.

    Great team play.
Be interesting to see if they can keep it up and how many of them get poached by bigger clubs.

The USMNT says “hold our beer” and schedules a game vs Honduras, outside in St Paul Mn, in February.

Well that’s certainly scheduling some home field advantage.

Tomorrow the Colorado Rapids play the Portland Timbers in the first ThxG soccer game!

Anyone see SLC beat Seattle without having a shot on goal all game last night? Fucking weird man.

I’m pumped for the mighty Timbers tomorrow. Doubt that many out of dedicated footy fans will care for a bird day game.

It would be better if they played spring to summer instead. It would also be better for FIFA as they'll be free fir NT play fall months then..
