never seemed to fit at Barca
like anything that makes that league more competitive AM may win it again and go deeper in CL.
UCL this year is going to be wide open.
in PL
West Ham had a great window
MUFC actually sold a player! for a profit! James fits well for Leeds and we are crowded enough Offensively with CR may not be 7 anymore returning, plus a wealth of attacking midfielders to sort in

Pumped that Betis signed Hector Bellerin on loan from arsenal. Kid and his whole family at huge Betis fans, plus it gives us a wingback who can actually put good balls into the box. Hoping the loan turns into a permanent move. Hopefully Ceballos moves from Madrid back home in the winter transfer window. Leaving Betis for Madrid set his whole career back and now he realizes the mistake.

I was a season ticket holder for three of the four years I lived in Sevilla. Not everyone just picks one of the big teams that always wins. Some people have actual emotional and community driven connections to clubs. Betis is the only club in Spain that is known to always attract traveling fans to away games, minus the Barca and Madrid fans that dot the country and cheer for them because they know that every year they’ll have a trophy. Betis fans in Spain are know for the motto “viva er Betis, manque pierda” (always written to imitate Andalusian accent). It means “long live Betis although they lose”. It’s hard to find fans as emotionally attached to a club as Betis; Boca and River are probably the closest. The fan base is also quite unusual and quirky in a very fun, connecting and intoxicating way. When I was a member there was an old guy who also had a membership for his goat who came to games with a gigantic piece of bread shaped in the style of the Betis logo around it’s neck. They’re associated with the working class around Andalusia and the large working class that had emigrated from there. Probably as many or more Betis fans in Catalunya as there are Espanyol fans.
“Hay una leyenda que corre el mundo entero, verdiblanca sus colores blanciverde el sendero. No hay quien puede con esta afficion. Aunque ultimo estuviera siempre the ven campeon.” Last sentence goes: Even in last place they (the fans) always see you as champs.
Checked the links below to see that there’s plenty of Betis fans.

Salah is en fuego. As a hardcore Chelsea fan I’m both impressed and disappointed and glad. Glad they didn’t eviscerate CFC when they went down a man. Tying that game speaks well of their defense.
Impressed by how well Salah is doing in the EPL. There is a period of taking a lot of hard tackles and abuse that If you can get defenders to realize that won’t put you off you’ll scare the shit out of them and they’ll back off. Hazard had that at his best. Salah seems to be getting there.
Disappointed that Salah is another world super star that slipped through Chelsea’s fingers but he and de Bruyne were the cost of bring in Jose and winning the PL title. Tough business.

I see the Egyptian Magician and Liverpool are kicking ass as usual. May he never walk alone. I'm good with that..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

except its not just your defense, it's the entire team which is lead by a clearly overmatched manager who has instilled nothing in terms of a team identify or any recognized patterns of play. against atalanta, who were missing 5 starters, they go down 2-0 at half and need a crazy comeback to win. solskjaer's response? he started the same. exact. team vs liverpool. he's learned nothing as the same mistakes continue to surface over and over. sunday vs liverpool was an extension of the leicester city match.
ownership and solskjaer are just like arsenal's ownership when wenger was in his last years where they just wanted to make top 4, get the CL money and continue to win nothing, except united have far better talent that's just going to waste. it always comes from the top. tuchel and guardiola both got two-year extensions this summer for winning: (PL & CL final) and (CL) and yet somehow, solskjaer got a three-year extension for second place and losing the europa final. and yet they wonder why they are in the position they're in.

Arsenal never spent money on an aging, but talented, retread shirt seller. Manu is more Liverpool pre-klopp under Rogers or Dalglish. Talent, but not the right talent, and not deployed in the right way. They need an elite manger and Elite managers are a rare commodity.

Cant argue,
Ole has done wonders to bring the club from where it was and has the right DNA and understanding of the club but his tactics, if you can call them that, are hot garbage and he has only been bailed out by great individual performances.
He will be gone in Jan as likely Pogba.
New Manager, like to have them look at young up and comer ( Nagelsmann, Seoane) as opposed to European Giant on the way down ( see Van Gal, JOse...) or split the difference with Tag from Ajax.
DOnt want a Conte or similar that bring in their entire staff and baggage.
See what happens at Spurs. Dr Spurs is often a cure for what ails another club

Interesting that Tottenham gets rid of their manager. It would seem the owner is more the problem, the little I know about it. Harry Kane not seeming to want to play for them is a problem. Guess he just needs some Italian persuasion. A loss to Man U used to be expected. Now people are losing their jobs over it.

Like Arsenal, you can’t pay for a big shiny new stadium and afford a great team at the same time.
