Man City currently tied with West Ham at halftime. Dare Arsenal fans dream?

Everton hanging on with a huge upset today. Relegation battles are the best.

Don't count those chickens yet & you always have a team in CL as you support multiple of the top flight Euro clubs.

Arsenal’s pissing away the league would be funny/sad if it weren't so predictable....

Only 12 points from the last 8 matches, and only +1 in goal differential (City has amassed 24 points in this period)
They are in a 10th place ranking when you look at the last 8 games. (and 12th place ranking when you look at the last 6 games).

Terrible showing at home by Arsenal. Could have stayed with City with a win. Now it’s pretty much over.

Doesn't 12 over the last 10 count as a huge overachievement for Arsenal?

I'm shocked - but in a good way. As an Arsenal guy I've been conditioned to expect about 4 points during that period. COYG!

God it sucks being both an Arsenal and Browns/Indians fan.

Nope I only support LFC in PL and other euro club league stuff. It's FIFA where I'll also support USA and MEX. I can be happpy for friends when their team does well But only all on in LFC for PL and CL.

American sports (NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAA) where I've lived over 10 years in four different major sports cities and have degrees from two different colleges, is a different story.

You could also cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs to really make your life miserable.
There are Arsenal fans that think there is still a chance, they are either really optimistic, or really, really, really bad at math.

I had to spell it out for my buddy:
Arsenal need to win both games against Forest and Wolves, and hope City loose the last 3 games against Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford.
Even 2 ties for City will allow them to win (unless Arsenal win by 20+ goals in their next 2 matches).
The game in hand City have had for the last few weeks has really confused Arsenal's mathematically challenged.

BUT Mathematically challenged maybe, but Alphabetically they will be "top of the table" again come June 1.

Dude. If you think being a Browns fan is somehow BETTER than being a Lions fan … well, I don’t know what to tell you.

That’s like saying it’s worse to get a paper cut than to be drawn and quartered. Lions fandom looks like the promised land to Clevelanders.

As a former Lions fan (was cured by the late 80's), you're probably right. It's pretty funny, either way.

When is the last time Arsenal had a season this good? But then it's more about the how you finish than how you start. I'm always plenty stoked to finish top 4, be it once a decade or every other season..

Not really. They have 65 points with only 2 more games vs Aston Villa and Southampton. 2 wins gets them a maximum of 71 points.

Both Newcastle and ManU have 66 points with 3 games remaining. They reach a maximum of 75 points.

    ManU at Bournemouth
    Chelsea at ManU
    Fulham at ManU
2 wins of these 3 games guarantees them a Top 4 Spot.

    Brighton at Newcastle
    Leicester at Newcastle
    Newcastle at Chelsea
2 wins of these 3 games ( or even 1 win and 2 ties) guarantees them a Top 4 Spot

So LFC just needs one of those two clubs to go full end of season NY Mets?
