Wind River Backpacking Conditions- next week

So a group of buddies and myself have been planning on a 5 day trip for the 4th-9th of July.

The route plan has changed a few times but I think we are set on an out and back from Elkhart TH to Titcomb basin, with TB as basecamp of sorts for some peakbagging, fishing, etc...

I have done some preliminary research via the state of WY water resources site as to regional snowfall avgs, SWE data, etc but I am wondering if any of you may be able to provide some "boots on the ground" type of beta.

    Should we expect significant snow?

I am mostly trying to decide if cramps/axe will be needed and if the lakes will still be frozen at elevation (in which case I will leave the fishing gear at home).

It was 3 years ago, but I remember running into snow at about 9000 ft in the Lander area at the end of June. Seriously though, Mosquitos are serious in the Winds, especially in July.

I think we should be alright re: snow vs 2010, speaking purely from empirical data via the following links (looks like the SWE was drastically higher back in '10).

Fucking skeeters...they were godawful last yr on Isle Royale this same time of year, I still think that nothing could be worse than that experience but who knows.

I have spent time on the fringes of the Winds for geology field studies while in college but this will be my first backpacking trip, we are collectively pretty pumped and hoping the weather treats us well.

Any other advice/beta is greatly appreciated

snowline's around 9000 in the Tetons right now and the next few days are predicted to be hot.

Well, the entire trail system that we are planning to use seems to be well above that 9k foot mark, damn.
