Best place to hire a mexican day laborer in Denver?
before I get flamed for this, I am part Mexican, and would like to support my community.
Anyhow, I have a huge fence in my back yard that needs to get painted. I am planning on hiring a day laborer to paint the fence in my backyard.
are there any good home depots in the denver area where I can find a day laborer?
Totally serious... I have no idea where to look for them.

Fuck you. Hire the Guatemalan day laborers, they work much harder and for less.

Hang out at HD for 5-7 minutes and see one that is a painter.
Or cruise Federal.

Don't you have a cousin you could hook up that fits the description?
I'm just a simple girl trying to make my way in the universe...
I come up hard, baby but now I'm cool I didn't make it, sugar playin' by the rules
If you know your history, then you would know where you coming from, then you wouldn't have to ask me, who the heck do I think I am.

Paint a fence? Hire a neighborhood kid to make a little cash. It's not like it is a hard job.

No direct experience but I know there is that purple building in the 5 points area The Center for Humanitarian something or another (in spanish) which is supposed to be the best way to to do this.

PM Rontele. He's a contractor in Aspen Park and he usually has some hookups on day laborers.

I know this thread is as old as dirt, but for others looking for cheap slave labor for fence painting and other yardwork... Just tell the local neighborhood punching bag kid you're a karate sense' and are "training" them while they paint the fence, wax on, wax off, etc..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!
