Did you just equate Kenny Chesney with "good country music???"

I'm sure his shows with Jimmy Buffett are a great party, but "great country music" it ain't. Next you'll be throwin out Florida/Georgia Line.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Seriously - if we ever meat, I'm going to kick the shit out of you. Not because you actually dislike Jason Isbell, but because you are the worst fucking troll on any forum I've ever looked at.

    that's hilarious.
I'm not a big country fan , since there's so much crap that gets radio play BUT I was turned onto Chris here on TGR and he's an amazing songwriter and player. so Humble and cool.

Bunch of my friends on Martha's Vineyard went off island to see this. They missed a great beer fest but I was tempted to blow it off and join them.

Chris Stapleton's show at the White River Amphitheater was really disappointing. His band was mediocre and it sounded nothing like his recorded music. If you didn't know that he was the headliner you would have thought you were at a Kenny Cheesney or Big and Rich show. The biggest disappointment was that Marty Stuart was the opening act and all the faux rednecks were standing around in their embroidered jeans and muscle tees drunk on Bud Light Orange staring at their phones while he played. He was clearly disgusted with these retards and just walked of the stage at the end of his set. It was sad to see a legend disrespected by an ignorant crowd.

So for years I had lumped Eric Church into the bad mainstream commercial hunks in hats bro country bullshit that Nashville produces in droves like FGL, etc.
New album changed my mind and got me digging into the catalog. I was wrong.

I really enjoyed the first half of an Eric Church show I went to. I hadn't heard of him before but a bunch of my cousins were going so I tagged along.

I would have enjoyed the second half were we not kicked out on account of said cousins drunken idiot friends.

I saw Eric Church live almost 10 years ago. Been a fan since and he's one of the few on the radio that I enjoy.

Sorry to hear Stapleton's show wasn't good live, been wanting to see him for a while.

I caught this act over the weekend when they were in town for the Winter Wondergrass show. They have an amazing range of tunes and can play many styles.
