New on the scene and top ten EU/UK charts this week.

    ALLEN HAYES

Very close of friend of mine. I really dig what he is doing, even though I dislike almost all country music.

Now whenever "good country" comes up some old head ( often me) often chimes in about Graham Parsons and The Flying Burrito Brothers and for good reason.
Well they just rereleased the 1972 Live album of the Burritos in Amsterdam and its sweeet. Graham isnt on this but a lot of good pickers from studios at the time filling in and its great. Streaming on Spotify and https://flyingburritobrothers.bandca...amsterdam-1972

    oh hell yeah!

One of the best shows in Country today.

Just got tix to see him and CWG in New Haven at a nightclub in July.

Have fun y'all. Warned Xover about this show months ago and actually thought about planning a trip around it and Alta closing but kid and life got in way

He isn’t wrong with his “Sounds Like the Radio” it’s a bit cliche filled. Bad Luck and Use Me are good. Beer and Country Music is a 4-4 Shuffle

Kid has a strong and unforced voice and instruments; telecasters, steel guitars, and fiddles.

Next, I want to hear him record some ballads and classic story songs.
