I'm trying to think of the title/singer of an old (ish) country/bluegrass song whose chorus goes: "Shit! Piss! Sonofabitch! Shit piss, son of a bitch..."". I want to say its Robbie Fulks or Bob Wire and the Fencemenders, maybe Cold Beans N' Bacon, Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam, Jim Miller and Buffalo Country? (definitely not Nathaniel Ratcliff). Google is no help at all, and I've gone through the library half a dozen times to no avail. Anyone got an insight/idea? Song has a festive/honky tonky vibe. Thanks.

Not the biggest country fan. But I’m more old school.
Can’t stand new school pop country.

    Stumbled across Colter Wall.

Clearly channeling the ghost of Johnny cash. But that’s probably why I’m digging it.

I’m sure someone else mentioned him already. But it’s new to me.

    . . .

School me on GOOD country music

Go out and buy The List by Roseanne Cash. Johnny gave her a list of 100 essential country songs, and she recorded her favorites. Listen to a lot of Merle.

Omg I was totally about to wake up and post Jason Boland's version of Gallo De Cielo this morning. That's the song to put on the jukebox when the glass starts shattering in the saloon!
