Wine By Joe 2013 harvest internship located in Dundee Oregon

Qualified interns will learn all aspects of wine making from the time the grapes arrive at the winery until they are put to barrel. You will learn cellar sanitation how to clean tanks and equipment correctly. Be trained on cellar tools such as pumps, forklifts, cap management tools, confined space training. You will learn different fermentation styles of red and white grapes, and be exposed to many different types of grapes that are grown in Oregon such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc.
This is a great opportunity to learn wine making skills that can be use all over the world. This is a paid internship. This internship starts around the first of October and can run through the first of December Depending on the year. Start and end dates may be flexible for qualified canidates.
