Damn that thing is a lunker! Unfortunately CT is not really known for producing huge bass, but they're out there.

Grout Pond in southern Vt. Via kayak, from 6 to 8 pm. Rubber worm and lizard. Couple of smallish smallmouth. Nothing picture worthy.

Not a big bass by any standards but the take was awesome. Caught in northern NJ in the middle of August.
