    Damn that thing is a lunker! Unfortunately CT is not really known for producing huge bass, but they're out there.

    One of the biggest bass I ever caught was caught in Moodus. Caught him on a topwater rattler in the moonlight. They are out there.

    Grout Pond in southern Vt. Via kayak, from 6 to 8 pm. Rubber worm and lizard. Couple of smallish smallmouth. Nothing picture worthy.

    Prior to this afternoon the Bottlewoman had not only been skunked this year, she had not even had a bite.

    Pretty nice bass she "landed" on the first hit of the year!!!!

    Cookie cutter largemouth. Boated 8 fish over 2hrs. Southern VT. Best part is tandem kayak day with 15yr old son!

    Not a big bass by any standards but the take was awesome. Caught in northern NJ in the middle of August.
