    Good for the price?

Bike Jong here. I am looking for a road bike 5'10"ish, 165lbs. Looking for a road bike, I recently aquired a job 25 miles from home and am thinking about attempting to bike there. Would this be a good bike for the job? (Also price wise?) Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Also I am in the area so I could also go look at it.

That's not much bike to be doing 80km a day depending on how many days a week you figure on the round trip. Offer him $300, the thing likely weighs about 40lbs. Loving that saddle and the stem.
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

Don't ride and are planning doing 50mi/day right off the bat. I hope its flat and there's a shower at work.

    Good luck.
I wear crocs for the style, not the comfort.

You're 5'10 and the frame is a 53cm. That bike is likely too small for you.

Will be working up to the 50 miles a day. Just don't want to do it on my mountain bike. I have never dealt with road bikes and have a low budget as I am a poor college student.
