    04-17 Green trip report

20" at the Flaming Gorge Lodge
7" at the put in. One of my better powder days of the year"

Nymphed all day because that is what my partner can do post stroke. Probably landed 30+ fish on a day where we only saw four or five other boats. Huge blue wing hatch about 11:30 had an active rise going from then on if we could throw dry's.

Cookie cutter Brown. I think the average fish size is up this year.

Alot more rainbows than browns this year for me. Biggest fish of the day were the three white fish all of which were the only ones with a 2 up front.
Typical day of nymphing on the Green!

I drive over to Colorado most years for the white fish spawn, so I agree! No pics though. I'll get a couple next time. Blog Brags are not my specialty!
