Oooh, I somehow left Dark Star off my list. I probably saw that at least four times before I even finished college. It's on Kanopy, by the way (and so is Rock and Roll High School from my list above).

Yup, I've seen MD a few times as well. SPOILER: The seemingly coherent bulk of the film is her dream-fantasy. Then, late in the film, the fantasy implodes, and the unhinged stuff near the end is her reality, or perhaps not entirely faithful, nor chronological, flashbacks of her reality. What the fantasy means is probably where you're at around the 4th viewing. Anyway, yes, great film.

Pick one movie, and you pick that? Fuck. Once is enough. Actually once is too much.

Arild cracking me up about kids getting nightmares. But learned years ago to consult IMDb parents guide for sex, language and violence before watching a “classic” movie with my young boys

Fortunately they’re old enough to watch raunchy filthy bloody tripe now.

Good catch. Easy to forget how damned hot KT was before she became jabba the hut.

Casablanca, hands down the most, maybe 50 times and The Maltese Falcon a bunch as well, always liked Bogie.

Holiday Inn is another B&W Classic I have seen a lot. 1st Debut of the song White Christmas FTW.

From the rest of the lists; Holy Grail, Last Waltz, Apocalypse/Platoon.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.
