    tetonat.com DOWN?

I was just looking online for some beta and it looks like tetonat.com is down right now and wasn't sure if anyone knew of an impending shutdown of the site. I thought it was staying up and hope it is only temporary.

I'm not sure, I was looking at it this morning and it worked fine, but not there now. Hope it comes back up.

Yes. But the site is an amazing resource and I had heard the plan was to keep it up.

My guess is something expired or some software was updated at the hosting provider that would take some type of change behind the scenes, hopefully whoever is the caretaker of it now has the info they need to get it back up.

appears to be wordpress database related.
<!-- WP Super Cache is installed but broken. The path to wp-cache-phase1.php in wp-content/advanced-cache.php must be fixed! -->
Don't know but it could also somehow be related to the attacks on wordpress sites last week.

I was hoping it was as simple as that plugin crashing stuff because that would be easy for someone to uninstall but if you look at http://tetonat.com/wp-admin/ it looks like it's a site wide database problem. Could have been disabled by the hosting provider if it was being attacked. Hopefully, someone just forgot to pay the hosting bill so it got disconnected.

In the meanwhile if you need something specific try: http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...w.tetonat.com/

my hosting company is retiring mySQL 4 this week. Could also be something like that if the warning emails are going to noone.

Yeah, looks like the domain was poached. There is quite a lot of work in just keeping a simple site going. The best bet would have been to make a static version of the website using something like wget.

We would be happy to host a version of the site and preserve Steve's legacy if someone gave us access to it.

Just emailed this thread to a friend of Steve's who I think would have access. Hopefully he can contact you and save the goods.
