Video of Skiing Chimney Sweep at Squaw Valley on Sunday

    Hey Guys,

High School senior Tilen Lane skied Chimney Sweep & Center Line in Squaw’s Chimney on Sunday and stomped both of them. I can assure you that it was less than ideal conditions and some pretty big air involved. There is a write up by Tilen about it as well as some photos on SnowBrains.

Pretty impressive. I don’t think anyone else dropped the Chimney at all this year? I’ve been out of town. Has the Chimney been open at all this year?

Awesome! That thing is difficult on blower days, not to mention maching across the ski traverse tracks at the bottom. Well done!!!

Yeah, pretty skilled maneuvers. I actually blew it on the edit. The first angle is Chimney Sweep, then the second angle is Tilen airing our of Center Line. I thought it was all the same line when I edited it. My bad. Sick line, Tilen. Very impressive. This 17-year old kid is the only person to ski the Chimney in 2012/13. Props.
