Armada, thanks for the insight and info. my experience with pentolite is its definitley more of an 'concussion blast' and not a fireball type explosion.... would the military grade PETN mixed with TNT make more of a fireball with black smoke?

Gf was a few blocks away. She's been trying to get home to Charlestown for a while. Said its really weird, everyone is trying not to congregate and people are avoiding crowds to make more crowds that they try to get away from.

Apparently there are other bombs that didn't explode and police are checking them up. There were people who finished the marathon and then went to the hospital to donate blood. Great that there are members of the human race so willing to try and help and fix the fuck ups of other members. 100+ injured now, including 10 or so in crit condition.

Don't know for sure, I've never seen anything other than PETN with Cordex first hand. To my eyes it looks like something an amateur would think would make a big explosion so gun powder or something like that. Fuck even tannerite doesn't make a fireball like that and you can buy that shit over the internet.
