Sometimes you just gotta get high enough, can't always go to the top. Looks like a day to be stoked on.

Yeah, the only measure of success is not reaching the summit, but getting home to talk about it. Just ask Mallory.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

Random. But interesting? What am I missing here? Inside joke.

I am more concerned about the ibex than any questions of safety or of to rope or not too. So, how many legs does an ibex have?

Me: "There's a fucking bear down there - a fucking dead bear!".
Roo: "It better be fucking dead..."
Proving that all those hours watching Ray Mears on TV weren't wasted.

As we got closer, it became apparent that it was in fact an ibex (he did promise me ibex), which - we assume - having failed to make the 400ft cliff huck to flat landing, had subsequently had it's head and hooves chopped off. As we stood there and looked at it, we realised there was a local somewhere enjoying a nice bowl of ibex hoof soup & admiring the new trophy on his kitchen wall.
Shame that the photos are missing.

they usually come with between 8 and 16 legs. i think it depends on the age of the individual specimen.
