    Sorry about your head injury, that sucks. Bowhunting sounds like a great diversion. I'm a rifle hunter. I bowhunted a couple years but decided I was not cut out for it. The only way to know is to try it. I will say that having full draw on a black bear 30 yards away in a service berry tree was a great rush. I decided to not let that arrow fly. I'd already missed a shot at a deer that morning.

    Anyway...You said you can't climb, but can you toprope? The risk of a head injury toproping is really pretty minimal if you're careful. I know it's not the same adrenaline rush as lead climbing, but you could just focus on difficulty, really raising your grade. I know more than one veteran climber who switched exclusively to toproping for reasons having to do with injuries.

    Archery / Bow Hunting

    Just finished building some kill sticks and tuning my new Vertix. Committing to whitetail out of the saddle this season. Is it October yet? I’m ready to stab a big horny one!
