And on a semi related note, good friends who ask for advice on something they have no knowledge of, and then do the exact opposite things as you suggested.

    +1 for Ally Sheedy
+2 for Lea Thompson as young Marty McFly's mom.

I forgot to put my gloves on to ride down today. I do not wear gloves up because my summer gloves were in the backpack the bike thieves stole... so I forgot to put the winter gloves on and crashed.

    My hand fucking hurts.

When I go to pour a splash of cream in my coffee at a coffee shop and some delicate paletted asshole has unthreaded the pouring lid to the “gusher” setting.
My brief tilt for a splash of cream instead results in an undrinkable khaki colored mess.

When I go to pour a shitload of cream at a coffee shop and some bearded, plaid shirt wearing bozo had tightened the pouring lid to the trickle setting and it takes me forever to get cream in my coffee so finally I just drink it black because as a delicate paletted asshole I'm too weak to turn the lid but I'm also too wimpy to drink black coffee so I just go home and cry. (Just kidding; I would never pay for a cup of coffee at a coffee shop.)

(although I agree with joetron. sometimes when you haven't had your first cup, you don't notice until it's too late)

That a cup of coffee and a muffin costs $8. Wtf? In Vail, sure, but Idaho Springs?

Also annoying: that blueberry muffins are sometimes lemon blueberry muffins, but nobody tells you that.

I think it’s on purpose in a cosmic sense- as to remind me I should be less of a lazy cunt and make some really good shit at home for 1/16th the cost.

And if you knew me you'd know that the last thing I need is more coffee. One cup a day will do me, two back when I had to sit through conferences without falling asleep.

A surprise lemon blue would be a total win for me.
