People who shorten "what the fuck" to "the fuck."
For fucks sake, that is some annoying shit.

Somebody needs a Roomba. I gave my wife one for xmas 2 years ago. I was nervous about it; household appliances aren't the most romantic gift, but she loves the thing, even though I'm not sure it actually cleans very well. That doesn't matter; as long as she sees it working she's happy.

Aggravated back injury is no longer bothering me.
Now my shoulder is hurting to the point of me being worried of potential injury
No idea what I did to it.

It doesn’t clean as well as a human pushing a big vacuum plugged into the wall. But it cleans every day and I don’t have to be the one doing it. I still vacuum once/week, but in between my house feels so much cleaner, especially with pets, and it really cuts down on the number of furbleweeds tumbling across my living room...
focus.

I spend as much time pre arranging the cord for the vacuum as I do actual vacuuming. Its like I need a caddy for the cord just to keep it out of the way. I know its prolly a conspiracy to sell cordless vacuums.

Trouble with our Roomba is that our house is an obstacle course. Not really what the Roomba was designed for, we spend a lot of time getting it unstuck, plus my son has a Bernese, so we spend a lot of time getting dog hair out of the rollers. But my wife is happy and that's all that matters. And it was cheaper than jewelry--at least the kind of jewelry she likes. (In the past when I've gotten her practical gifts--kneepads [which I wound up being the one to use], a really good ladder--I've always supplemented them with baubles.)

I just bought a small bag of mixed nuts. The bag has a warning that these were processed in a facility that processes nuts.
