Went to a fancy restaurant with my cousin, wife and baby. Baby shat her diaper. Cousin changed it on the table. Babies inure you to shit. That said my cousin is nuts--60 years old and came to his niece's Bat Mitzvah in a tank top and had to be dragged off the dance floor because he was getting too friendly with the 13 year old girls. Apparently he's had a lot of concussions (and a lot of wives.)

There's a heavy cream shortage going on here in W2. The only thing I could find was $17 for a half gallon and it's not even organic for that price. Crazy shit esp. with it being holiday baking season.

Been like that around here intermittently for a couple years. Luckily, Costco seems to be pretty solid with 1/2 gallons of Darigold goodness for the last few months.

I fuckin' LOVE heavy whipping cream.

Is heavy cream produced from heavy petting?

    Made me look it up:

Heavy cream is made by skimming or separating the fattest layer of liquid off the top of whole milk in a processing plant and must contain at least 36 percent milk fat.

That is now where close to the cat shats I guarantee you. Worst thing I have smelled in years and it happens all the time. Guess I should be happy I can smell, as I am sick as fuck, just not covid.

Finished up a remodel. Electrician the homeowner used is known around town as someone who starts a job and goes mia. I told homeowner this. Electrician has been unresponsive and unreliable all job. I tried to get rid of him multiple times. Finally time comes for electrician to do finish (hang lights, outlets etc...) Electrician comes back, wires up boiler, says he will be back next day and finish. Completely ghosts homeowner. Hire new electrician, find out old electrician forgot to run wires for kitchen. House is finished, looks like I’m taking down part of finished t&g ceiling.

We used to have a a white long haired Manx cat with some kind of intestinal malabsorption thingie, who would shit in the bath tub. Holy cat shit. Managed to drive out some very annoying house mates, so there's that.

One of my neighbors left a dog in her apartment, which is not her dog, and it has not stopped barking for 6 hours. All the windows / sliding doors are open so it's easily heard.

I'm pretty tempted to go slide the screen door open and take the dog for a walk or something.

I’m kind of a fan, as I’m usually on the receiving side.

Let a couple of really good skiers, take some laps, to test the slope. Better than hauling some beater out first thing.

Carpet installer (rescheduled at least twice) shows up an hour early for the appointment window and jets before I can rush home. I was ten minutes away. Fucking hell.
