What I don't understand is why homophobes feel compelled to post hateful comments. Can't they just move on if they don't like it? Nope, they've got to make sure everyone knows how they feel about it.

I have heard a few younger relations announce at gatherings, when asked about their school search, say that they were primarily interested in a prime sports scene. Not to participate in, but, to be a fan and do the weekly party thing. A school with both a top football and basketball program like Michigan State would be a top choice. Dealing with a government agency (employer fucked up my state taxes) and was informed that case resolution takes 180-240 business days. Holy fuck, I know the government is not a model for efficient processes, but I straight up laughed at the rep when he told me that.

Yeah, that's comparable to a photo of two people who both went to MSU, met there and fell in love. It's obviously not going to be their primary marketing, but I could imagine posting a couple on Valentine's Day or something. By the same token, showing two gay men who met at MSU during Pride Month seems perfectly normal to me. Colleges and Universities need to market the entire college experience and the people you meet is a major part of that as far as I'm concerned.

Getting billed extra by my primary care physician for a “Medical Office Visit” as part of my 100% covered annual physical and them not being able to explain what was done outside of the annual physical that kicked off that charge.

Looks like it is time to find a new doctor.

My wife and I just found out that we owe the hospital that delivered our baby girl in January $14k.

We have already paid about $7k out of pocket for the delivery and related items and never received a bill or statement for any of the items on the $14k invoice. We got invoices in the mail for all of the other charges. Not even a phone call or email over the last 5 months to let us know we had a party due bill. We only found out about the balance when we logged in to our online account to pay a $200 bill for a follow up visit.

That's annoying. Not the price, that seems fair I guess, but the surprise bill is maddening.

I guess if I went to MSU I could have avoided this situation entirely?
