Coronavirus--56 deaths so far (that the Chinese are admitting).
Meanwhile 149 influenza deaths in California so far this season (as of 1/18.)
Of course the coronavirus could turn out to be much, much worse by the time either it's all over or the world is all over

"Professional" wrestling? [low hanging fruit, dude!]
Yeah, I know that's probably not what you mean - but still...

Nope. This is still dumber. I watched 3 or 4 in a row slowly make a lot of noise to get very awkward and low-altitude air only to face plant several feet down the jump. I’ve seen pro wrestlers with more send.

You've got a point. I googled it, and wow. It DID suck.
Pro wrestling is worse, but I dunno by how much.

☆Extremely☆ boring to watch. (Prolly hella fun to do, fwtw.) Woulda been better if they'd included some kinda proper hills. I mean, it was at a ski resort ferkissake, but it was on a little oval "short course".
    Makes no sense.

Made some Morning Glory muffins yesterday and shared them with my friend and her husband. This morning at yoga she says to me "those were great muffins, you've really gotten better at making them."

WTF? It is the same recipe I've been making for years and they always turn out wonderful because... wait for it.... I'm an accomplished baker when it comes to muffins, cookies, cakes etc. And I might add they are quite involved and time consuming so I generally don't like to share because they are... again, wait for it... WONDERFUL. When I do share I make sure they are nothing short of perfect.

I swear she cannot give anything but a backhanded compliment.

Give them to someone else, lol... what a jerk.

Nothing worse than making an effort (or muffins) and not getting any thanks. Better yet, send them to me. I'll post you props in the muffin props thread!
